Hello! This is a message to potential callers. At the moment we're collecting calls for future episodes, and the themes are:
1) THANKSGIVING - Ya know! Your feelings about it, what you're thankful for, stories etc. We're going to unveil the turkey game in this one, so I'm personally excited!

Hey guys! I had to do one last post about the project me, Skyler and Katie have been working on. It's called BLOGS ON TAPE and it's our bundle of joy! It's basically a podcast of spontaneous calls (or blogging), but the really cool thing is that anyone can participate! You don't even need recording equipment, or to be in our part of the country, just call 917-512-7401 ext 49953 leave a message and whatever you say will be sent to us as an mp3! The phone number is free so don't worry about any of that, and don't feel like you need to give us a work of art either. Calls so far have ranged from twitter-esque updates, drunk dials, singing, bullshit, storytelling, to burping and just about anything else you can do into a phone that's awesome. There aren't words to describe how excited we are about this and even if you don't participate (and there's no excuse for that) we hope you'll atleast enjoy the show!

Me and Skyler began working on a new podcast this week. It's called "Blogs on Tape" and I am so damn excited about this project! It's a very very broad show that's basically just phoned in spontaneous "blogging"(you could also call it storytelling, bullshitting, prank calling, twittering or anything you can do with a phone that is awesome). Right now the main contributors are me, Skyler and Katie and they've been pumping out absolute gold and it hasn't even been a week since we started! The really really cool thing is that we're open to anyone who wants to contribute, you just call our phone number (917-512-7401 then hit 49953) and leave a message and you'll be in the damn show! As much as you want! One of us will probably post something more official looking when we have a real website for it, but the point is you need to get really excited and also call that number. |

they pulled me into the enchanted forest, sat me down in a tiny chair and asked me to play them my songs. now i'm part of the musical program at kids jam. they have alot of ideas for making use of me as a songwriter/performer, but i'm not sure what'll materialize. it's not gonna pay much but i'm very excited. i'd been hoping to focus on music in some capacity this semester. also the kids are amazing.
i've taken a break from school this semester. i'm hoping to return with a rejuvinated sense of purpose, but i'll probably just return grumbly and disinterested as always. this is poor timing on my part. i decide to support myself for the first time in this life and suddenly i'm hit with fines and hurricanes. stuff's complicated, but danger ain't imminent. for the most part i'm just enjoying myself. also, really appreciating my friends. every once in a while i realize i have really amazing people in my life. it's hard to find the time to recognize that.

i'm off to a camp at an undisclosed location till tuesday, where cell phone reception is slack. it's kindof like dropping off the face of the earth, but it's only for two days. |
